RAYMOND BENN FCCA

Ray qualified in 1974 and gained valuable commercial experience in the investment, trading and banking sectors, before starting the practice from his own home in 1980.

His aim has always been to provide a high-quality service at a reasonable price.  This has been achieved by assembling together a high quality team of talented individuals and is evidenced by the continued growth of the practice.

MARGARET BOWERMAN

Margaret has been preparing the tax returns for the clients of Raymond Benn & Co for the last twenty years.

She originally came from the Inspector of Taxes office, which gave her a valuable insight into the practices of HM Revenue and Customs. After a spell in the tax department of a large London firm of accountants and raising a couple of children she joined the firm in 1987.

JACKIE CAMPBELL FCCA

Jackie joined Raymond Benn & Co in 2002 after having gained 10 years experience in commerce.

She manages our payroll department and is responsible for our on-line filing of returns to the Inland Revenue and Companies House. She also helps Rob Ward with his portfolio of clients.

TIM DAUNCEY FCCA

Tim qualified in 1992 and joined us in 1997. He has vast experience of working in both commerce and the accountancy profession.

He manages our “Musician and Professional Clients” accounting and taxation affairs. He also specialises in handling enquiries from the Inland Revenue, at either local tax district or head office level.

JOHN ETHERIDGE

John began his working life as an HM Customs and Excise officer. In the early nineties John entered the world of personal money matters.

He worked in the insurance and banking sectors before becoming an IFA. John joined Raymond Benn and Co in 2002. He has developed the financial service side of our practice into a service that is considered necessary and essential by many of our clients, especially as we offer truly independent financial advice.

THERESA FOREMAN

Theresa joined the company in 2001.

She works with Tim Dauncey in providing accountancy and taxation services to our Musician & Professional clients. She also specialises in National Insurance Contributions.

BRIAN LUXFORD FCA

Brian joined Raymond Benn & Co at the end of 2002. He is a well-known and highly respected practitioner locally, working in general practice in Tunbridge Wells since 1981.

Brian has considerable experience of all aspects of company, partnership and sole-trader business accounts and taxation.

He manages our audits and deals with the accounting and taxation affairs of a varied portfolio of our local clients.

CHRIS TERRY

Chris joined Raymond Benn & Co. having graduated in the summer of 2007 from Greenwich University with an upper second-class Business Administration degree. Chris has gained five years experience working at local accountancy practices since leaving school in 2000. He has considerable experience in the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts. Chris will be sitting the second stage of the ACCA examinations in the summer of 2009.

SAM BATCHELOR

Sam joined Raymond Benn & Co in July 2008 as a trainee accountant having recently graduated from Royal Holloway University, where he achieved a First Class Honours BSc in Business Management. He is currently studying for the ACCA qualification.
