SAM BATCHELOR

Sam joined us in July 2008 as a trainee accountant having graduated from Royal Holloway University, where he achieved a First Class Honours BSc in Business Management.

He is studying for the ACCA qualification and has already completed nine of the fourteen exams.

RAYMOND BENN FCCA

Ray qualified in 1974 and gained valuable commercial experience in the investment, trading and banking sectors, before starting the practice in 1980.

Ray’s aim has always been to provide a high-quality service at a reasonable price. This has been achieved by assembling together a high quality team of talented individuals and is evidenced by the continued growth of the practice.

MARGARET BOWERMAN

Margaret has been preparing the tax returns for the clients of Raymond Benn & Co for over twenty years.

Margaret was originally with the Inspector of Taxes office, which gave her a valuable insight into the practices of HM Revenue and Customs. After a spell in the tax department of a large London firm of accountants and raising two children she joined us in 1987.

TIM DAUNCEY FCCA

Tim qualified in 1992 and joined us in 1997. He has vast experience of working in both commerce and the accountancy profession.

He manages our “Entertainers & Musician” client’s accounting and taxation affairs. He also specialises in dealing with enquiries from the Inland Revenue, at either local tax district or head office level.

THERESA FOREMAN FCCA

Theresa qualified in 2000 and joined us in 2001.

She works with Tim Dauncey in providing accountancy and taxation services to our Musician & Professional clients. She also specialises in National Insurance Contributions.

BRIAN LUXFORD FCA

Brian joined us at the end of 2002. He is a well-known and highly respected practitioner, working in general practice in Tunbridge Wells since 1981.

Brian has considerable experience of all aspects of company, partnership and sole-trader business accounts and taxation.

He manages our audits and deals with the accounting and taxation affairs of a varied portfolio of our local clients.

CHRIS TERRY

Chris joined us having graduated in the summer of 2007 from Greenwich University with an upper second-class Business Administration degree. He has considerable experience in the preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts.

MARTIN YARDLEY FCA

Martin joined us in 2010.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 with a London firm before moving to a practice locally in Tunbridge Wells.

He has extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of owner managed businesses and personal tax clients.
